The delivery tip on Mercato orders goes 100% to the courier. Tip is optional but highly recommended.
How do I modify the delivery tip at checkout?
Our system automatically suggests a 5% tip. You can change this on your own at checkout.
- On the checkout screen, click Change next to the Delivery tip.
- Select your new desired tip percentage or click Other to enter your own amount. If you enter your own amount, click Apply.
- You will see the new updated tip price reflected in the delivery tip area and in the order total details.
How do I modify the delivery tip after I've placed my order?
Once an order is placed we can only process a refund for the entirety of the tipped amount only.
Unfortunately, once the order is placed we can not refund portions of the tip in order to adjust it either by increasing or decreasing the amount.
